Trail Blazer

The popular Mr Price Karkloof Trail Blazer is back again, and this year includes a 12km trail run as well. The event, located in the stunning Karkloof Valley, aims at providing riders and families with a real chilled out experience of superb trails in the surrounding SAPPI forestry plantations. No prizes, no race packs, no complications, just darn good single track riding. For the social beginners and families do not fear, as the 20km route allows you to enjoy the area as well, without any single track or technical riding.

ii. Time:
1. 40km: Start between 08h00-08h45
2. 12km trail run: Start at 08h45
3. 20km: Start between 09h00 and 09h30
4. 7km Kids Fun Ride: 09h45
*Note: As no prizes will be awarded, and these events are about the experience, riders can start anytime during the stipulated start periods for their chosen distances.
* Note: Timing is optional. If you want to be timed, please bring your Mr Price timing chips.

v. Registration Process: ALL riders need to register. At registration, you will be issued with an armband confirming your entry and your race. NO ARMBAND, NO RIDE. If you wish to get timed, you will also need to swipe your timing chip at registration.
