MR PRICE KARKLOOF CLASSIC 2011, BIGGER AND BETTER!

The Mr Price Karkloof Classic 2011 is set to be bigger and better than ever before! The race has changed its date to a month earlier to fit into an insane build up to the 2011 UCI World Cup to be held in Pietermaritzburg, KZN in April. April is set to be Mountain Biking Mania in South Africa with the following line up:

• Mr Price Karkloof Classic, Karkloof, KZN – 8th – 10th April 2011
• South African XC and DH Champs, PMB, KZN – 15th – 17th April 2011 (Elite riders will require a FULL racing license)
• UCI MTB World Cup, PMB, KZN – 22nd – 24th April 2011

Another epic addition to the 2011 Mr Price Karkloof Classic is the allocation of UCI points to the Cross Country and Downhill events making the stakes that much higher for this year’s competitors. The Downhill race is also new to this year’s event and promises some thrilling entertainment for spectators as well as drawing some of the top mountain bikers from around the world as they battle it out in the Karkloof Valley in these UCI sanctioned events.

MR PRICE KARKLOOF CLASSIC RACE GARMENTS.

The 2011 Mr Price Karkloof Classic garment is one that you are going to use on all your training sessions and future races. The first 1500 entries into the 40km aQuelle Half Marathon and the 60km Mr Price Karkloof Classic will receive the official race garment. Make sure you get your entries in soon! Remember that the 1500 garments are split between the two races.
